Last week’s Medtrade — at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, March 26-28 — showed double-digit growth in attendance versus attendance figures from 2023, event officials said.
“This year’s Medtrade attracted more than 2,300 qualified attendees,” said Kerry Tyler, Medtrade’s associate show director in a March 28 news announcement. “That’s an increase of almost 25% over last year.”
The educational conference portion of the event tallied 1,000 registrants, versus 600 registrants at least year’s conference.
Medtrade officials said attendees came “from every state except Rhode Island,” as well as from 35 countries.
Attendees choose favorite new products
In the New Product Pavilion, attendees voted for their favorites throughout the show.
The Providers’ Choice Gold winner was the washable fabric Jover Walker Cover by Jover. The Silver winner was Elsa by Celeritas AI, a health insurance claims system that uses artificial intelligence. The Bronze winner was Tranquility Premium OverNight and Premium DayTime Underwear by Tranquility Incontinence Products.
This was the second year that Medtrade has been held as a single annual event in Dallas, rather than in two installments, Medtrade West and Medtrade East. Next year’s Medtrade returns to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Feb. 18-20.
“The show has been great with a lot of positivity about our product,” said M. Kristen Hyatt, the co-founder of Jover. “We are a first-time exhibitor. A distributor told us about Medtrade, and we’re glad we made the trip.”
