Medtrade Partners with NRRTS to Manage Medtrade’s Rehab Conference Program

March 1, 2006 by HME Business

VNU Expositions has announced a partnership with the National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (NRRTS) to manage the rehabilitation educational track for Medtrade 2006.

The partnership will provide the timeliest and most comprehensive educational programming for rehabilitation providers in the home health care industry. Medtrade 2006 is scheduled for Sept. 19?21 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

“VNU Expositions, the AAHomecare and the Medtrade educational advisory board are pleased to make this announcement,” says Art Ellis, group vice president for VNU Expositions. “We are confident that through NRRTS’ knowledge of the rehab industry, the rehab track at Medtrade 2006 will directly target the needs of rehab professionals, providing them with the best possible educational experience.”

The expertise provided by the NRRTS staff and its officers will benefit Medtrade attendees in several ways. NRRTS’ professional and clinical knowledge will enhance the credibility of the Medtrade educational program and will ensure the track directly speaks to the most current issues facing rehabilitation professionals. Additionally, the partnership will allow Medtrade attendees to receive continuing education credits (CEUs) for several of the rehabilitation track sessions offered at the 2006 conference.

“NRRTS is excited to be selected to review and develop the rehab educational track for Medtrade 2006,” says Mike Seidel, NRRTS president. “We are committed to offering continuing educational opportunities and developing rehab education for advanced rehabilitation technology suppliers, which are both important goals for our industry.”
