Medforce, hmeDOC Successfully Integrate Systems

December 11, 2009 by HME Business

HME document imaging and workflow system maker MedFORCE Technologies Inc. and online referral and documentation service hmeDOC Inc. have successful integration their two systems.

The online service from hmeDOC Inc. lets physicians and staff order DME online, and includes support for Medicare and other payors. MedFORCE SCAN gives providers an HME-focal document imaging system paired with its WorkFLOW automation software.

With the integration, as each new order or patient is recorded in hmeDOC, the system transfers physician signed forms, narrative and other patient documentation, to MedFORCE SCAN and the accompanying WorkFLOW automation software, eliminating data entry duplication and manual scanning and placement.

“The current market requires that healthcare providers become more proficient in finding ways to increase productivity while meeting the ever increasing regulatory and audit changes,” said Jeff Lawson, president hmeDOC.”

“Having the ability to easily and seamlessly integrate technologies into one’s business is one of the best ways any operation can reduce redundancies and waste and streamline its processes,” said Esther Apter, CEO of MedFORCE.
