MedFORCE, Computers Unlimited to Integrate Systems

October 9, 2009 by HME Business

Document scanning system maker MedFORCE Technologies Inc. and Computers Unlimited have entered a formal relationship with Computers Unlimited to develop a seamless information exchange between CU’s TIMS Software and MedFORCE Scan.

For each new patient added, TIMS creates a file in MedFORCE prompting for that patient’s documents to be scanned, eliminating data entry duplication and increasing the number of documents automatically saved after being scanned. A MedFORCE link in TIMS enables electronic retrieval of MedFORCE patient documents directly from within TIMS.

“MedFORCE has always believed in open architecture. We believe that the customer is the best judge of the most effective technology solution for their operations,” said Esther Apter, CEO of MedFORCE Technologies. “Developing relationships with technology providers gives our customers the freedom to choose the best solution for their business.
