MED Group to Provide KCI Support Surfaces

HME provider purchasing network The MED Group (Lubbock, Texas) has entered an agreement with wound care and support systems maker Kinetic Concepts Inc. (KCI; San Antonio, Texas) that will see The MED Group be KCI’s preferred provider network manager.

The Med Group, which has more than 340 member companies with more than 1,000 locations, will help KCI support systems’ referral sources facilitate efficient transfer of patients to the home and set-up.

The goal is ensure “transition patients to the home using an integrated, streamlined approach and maintains our commitment to patient care,” says Lynne Sly, global President of KCI’s Therapeutic Support Systems.
