Joining the Fight to Protect Manual CRT Users

August 25, 2020 by David Kopf

[UPDATE: This story has been edited to reflect the deadline extension to collect signatures.]

Do you have a free five minutes between now and Sept. 18? Then you have time to protect a vulnerable patient group: the users of manual complex rehab chairs.

In the current episode of the HMEB Podcast, Don Clayback, executive director of the National Coalition for Assistive and Rehab Technology (NCART), sits down to discuss a campaign to convince lawmakers to add their signatures to a House sign-on letter urging CMS to not apply competitive bidding-derived pricing to accessories for manual complex rehab wheelchairs.

The deadline is July 29.
