InHome Medical Solutions Names New Senior VP

Wholesale medical products distribution company InHome Medical Solutions has appointed Craig Long as its new senior vice president of business development.

“InHome’s ability to generate creative, value-based, customized product solutions for the post-acute market is one of the top reasons I joined the company,” Long said. “With looming reductions in CMS reimbursements, it is more important than ever for hospice and home health providers to maintain or increase the quality of items on formulary while reducing costs at the same time; not just on a per unit basis, but across the entire supply chain.”

Long comes to the company with more than 15 years’ experience leading business development at Deyta Analytics, a benchmarking and data analytics provider for post-acute healthcare markets. Previously, Long served for more than five years as a senior executive at healthcare services and information technology company McKesson Provider Technologies.

In his new role at InHome Medical Solutions, Long will be responsible for driving efficiency gains, quality improvements and cost reductions for home health and hospice providers across the country.

“Craig’s ability to drive value and growth as demonstrated through his tenures at McKesson and Deyta along with his associated home health and hospice provider relationships are assets to the InHome team and our partners,” said Todd LaVelle, president of InHome Medical Solutions.

InHome Medical is the non-acute division of parent company ASP Global. InHome Medical is headquartered in Atlanta, Ga. and serves physicians, home health and hospice providers throughout the United States. Home health and hospice nurses can order medical products for individual patients and InHome Medical Solutions will ship them directly to the patient’s home or assisted living center, eliminating the need for inventory management and allowing products to be redistributed to care delivery.
