Home Oxygen Company, based in Modesto, Calif., has completed its acquisition of the durable medical equipment (DME) division of Community Hospice & Health Services, also headquartered in Modesto.
In a June news announcement, Home Oxygen Company said the acquisition “joins two reputable providers in the area with long-established ties to the community,” adding, “Community Hospice and Health Services patients and nurses will have greater access to some of the newest technologies made available to patients, such as virtual respiratory therapy services, real-time delivery notifications, Homefill/POC and Airvo.”
The acquisition was completed June 15; terms were not disclosed.
As a result of the acquisition, Home Oxygen Company moved to a larger, 10,000-square-foot warehouse, which will now serve as a regional distribution center for the company’s Sacramento and San Francisco/bay area warehouses.
“We are honored to service Community Hospice & Health Care patients,” Andrea Ewert, CEO of Home Oxygen Company, said in the announcement.
Modesto is in California’s Central Valley region.
