HME Business Webinar: How an Effective Intake Strategy Can Support Audit Successes
The Dec. 5 webinar will feature Noel Neil and Jennifer Sylvester from ACU-Serve.

November 26, 2024 by Laurie Watanabe

In a new HME Business webinar on Dec. 5 — Achieving Audit Success Through Effective Intake Solutions — ACU-Serve’s Chief Compliance Officer Noel Neil and VP of Ancillary Services Jennifer Sylvester will discuss how robust intake solutions can help to achieve successful outcomes in Medicare Targeted Probe and Educate (TPE) audits.

The TPE program is used by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to “help providers and suppliers reduce claim denials and appeals through one-on-one help,” the agency says on its website. “Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) work with you, in person, to identify errors and help you correct them.”

Neil and Sylvester will share insights from ACU-Serve’s recent audit findings and provide actionable recommendations for providers looking to create and implement a successful education program. They will also discuss the risks tied to unsuccessful outcomes in initial and subsequent audit rounds, as well as practical strategies for creating and managing an employee education program to improve audit outcomes.

The free webinar, sponsored by ACU-Serve, takes place on Thurs., Dec. 5, starting at 12 noon Eastern time and will include a Q&A session with the presenters.
