HME Business Webinar: Getting Ready for Upcoming DMEPOS, Accreditation Changes
The Oct. 16 webinar, with free registration, is sponsored by The Compliance Team.

September 26, 2025 by Laurie Watanabe

Professionals in the durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies (DMEPOS) industry are awaiting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) final rule that will announce a number of changes for home medical equipment (HME) businesses, including how and when they’ll be accredited.

But even during this uncertain period, providers can be proactive to set themselves up to succeed going forward.

In an Oct. 16 webinar, Sandra Canally, RN, founder and CEO of The Compliance Team, will advise providers on how they can prepare their businesses and what they should focus on to remain compliant.

In this one-hour webinar starting at 2 p.m. Eastern, learn proven strategies and actions providers can take now to get ready, regardless of what CMS’s final decisions will be.

Canally will also review the actions that have succeeded in the past and can succeed now; how to prepare for annual accreditation visits and what to expect; and best practices for DME providers, regardless of the eventual accreditation timeline and structure.

The presentation is sponsored by The Compliance Team. Free registration is now open.
