GCE Names Quality Biomedical as National Service Provider

August 22, 2019 by David Kopf

Oxygen equipment maker GCE Group has tapped respiratory equipment servicing and management company Quality Biomedical to be the national service provider for its Zen-O and Zen-O lite range of portable oxygen concentrators (POCs).

Quality Biomedical will provide both warranty and out-of-warranty service and repair for the Zen-O and Zen-O lite POCs for GCE, which was recently acquired by Colfax Corporation.

“Quality Biomedical was selected due to their national presence in five major markets in the USA with plans to extend to a total of 12 over the next 18 months,” said Jim Clement, general manager of GCE’s operations in the USA, explained. “This will allow GCE customers to access service support close to their locations, with significant improvements in turn-around times and reduced packing and shipment costs.

“The Zen-O and Zen-O lite range of products are very innovative portable oxygen concentrators and have found wide acceptance in the HME industry,” said Jim Worrell, Chief Commercial Officer at Quality Biomedical. “We are very pleased to have been selected by GCE to provide national service support for them.”

In addition to Quality Biomedical’s ISO-900 quality certification, GCE’s Clement also cited the servicing company’s Q-Connect equipment management platform as something Zen-O and Zen-O lite providers will appreciate. To learn more about Q-Connect, listen to episode 013 of the HME Business Podcast.
