The Georgia Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers (GAMES) has joined the Atlantic Coast Medical Equipment Services Association (ACMESA).
“We’re thrilled to share another exciting milestone in ACMESA’s growth across the southeast!” the ACMESA board of directors said in a Feb. 19 bulletin to stakeholders. The board said the addition of GAMES would lead to “strengthening our collective voice and expanding our ability to serve homecare providers and suppliers across the region. This marks our second major partnership in less than six weeks — proof of our commitment to uniting and advocating for our industry.”
ACMESA, led by Executive Director Beth Bowen, now represents home medical equipment providers in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. This growing collaboration supports the organization’s efforts to “amplify our collective voice at both state and national levels; expand resources and representation to tackle unique challenges across all member states; and strengthen advocacy efforts for providers and patients alike.”
Though ACMESA is now representing five states, the organization “remains deeply committed to state-specific advocacy, ensuring every member’s voice is heard,” the bulletin said.
“To ensure a smooth integration, ACMESA has an active transition team in place, dedicated to meeting the needs of our new partners. We welcome your questions, ideas and participation as we continue building a unified, thriving network.”
