FLA Orthopedics, DMETRAIN Offer Online Courses for Orthotics, Compression and Footwear

January 1, 2007 by HME Business

FLA Orthopedics Inc., a manufacturer of orthopedic, sports medicine and bracing products, has partnered with DMETRAIN to provide Internet-based orthotic, compression hosiery and therapeutic footwear training.

“We are excited about this great opportunity to work together to create critical employee training for our customers, especially in light of current CMS competitive bidding and quality standard issues,” says Rex Niles, president and CEO of FLA Orthopedics.

DMETRAIN provides online training and testing for the medical equipment and pharmacy employees, including continuing education courses, reporting and analysis, and assistance with accreditation compliance.

“The industry has so many unique needs and requirements. Working with a company like FLA Orthopedics gives us a partner that shares our commitment to quality, and has the expertise to assist us in creating exceptional training programs,” says Robert Thompson, president of DMETRAIN.
