This year’s finalists are Carol Poole, owner of A New You Pink Boutique in Brandon, Fla.; Patsy Taylor, Former Boutique Coordinator, Magnolias Breast Health Boutique, Augusta, Ga.; and Ramona Hertzell, CFm and owner of Second to Nature Boutique in Greensboro, N.C.

Essentially Women presents the Ruth Addison Award of Excellence each year to an individual who has made a significant impact on her company, community, and the women’s health industry.

Finalists were selected from a pool of nominees by the Ruth Addison Award of Excellence nomination committee. Committee members include Matt Gruskin, COO, Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC); Mike Isaacson, SVP, Operations, VGM & Associates; Nikki Jensen, VP, Essentially Women; and Jim Lawson, Outreach Development Manager, American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC).

The winner of the 2023 Essentially Women Ruth Addison Award of Excellence will be announced prior to the keynote session at the Focus Conference on Feb. 5.

“The Essentially Women Ruth Addison Award of Excellence has become a significant award in the women’s health industry,” said Nikki Jensen. “Each year, I am impressed with the nominations that we received and the amazing accomplishments that women in this industry have achieved. Each one of this year’s finalists have had made significant contributions to the development of the post-mastectomy industry. Congratulations to this year’s finalists!”
