July 23, 2020 by David Kopf

Mobül: the mobility store (Long Beach, Calif.).

This marks the third provider purchase for Eppic, which also has locations in Palm Desert and San Diego. Eppic Medical is directly affiliated with complex rehab company Access Medical, which operates in Carlsbad, Anaheim, Palm Desert, Burlingame, Honolulu, and the island of Saipan.

Mobül is well known to HME Business readers for being a retail-only provider of mobility solutions, bath safety products, lift chairs and other HME items, as well as its showroom, which features various rooms so that clients can envision of HME products can fit into their lifestyles. With the Eppic relationship, Mobül will be able to add complex rehab products to its lineup.

“I was introduced to Wayne Slavitt, founder and CEO of Mobül, and was extremely impressed with him and the team Wayne has built,” said Blaine Hunt, founder, president and CEO of Access Medical. “The quality of the products, the outstanding service provided by the staff and the beauty of the store are exactly what attracted us to Mobül.”

“Blaine has the energy, intelligence, and drive to expand the reach of Mobül and make that a reality,” Slavitt added. “Mobül’s future is very bright!”
