Encore Healthcare has announced the integration of its Nexus system with React Health’s, Movair’s, and Philips’s cloud-based ventilator management platforms.
In a March news announcement, Encore Healthcare, based in Livingston, Tennessee, said, “These integrations mark the first of several integrations that will significantly reduce the workload for HME [home medical equipment] providers managing ventilator patients and allowing for streamlined compliance management. This series of integrations coming in Q1/Q2 marks a significant advancement in respiratory care for HME providers, enhancing patient outcomes through seamless data synchronization, streamlined clinical workflows, and clinical outcomes managed in one platform.”
The Nexus system, the company added, “empowers health-care providers with real-time insights, remote patient monitoring, and data-driven decision-making tools.” Integrating with React Health’s Connect, Movair’s Prisma Cloud, and Philips’s Care Orchestrator management solutions, “Nexus will now offer even greater efficiency, enabling care teams to access synchronized patient data in one centralized platform. These collaborations enhance treatment adherence, facilitate proactive interventions, and ultimately improve patient quality of life.”
With the integrations, Encore Healthcare said respiratory therapists, physicians and their care teams will be able to keep track of therapy compliance while adjusting treatment plans in real time. Respiratory professionals will also be able to engage with their patients more efficiently while ensuring “secure and complaint data sharing.”
The ultimate goal of those efforts is to optimize care while reducing hospital readmissions.
“Our mission at Encore Healthcare is to continuously innovate and drive better outcomes for patients with chronic respiratory conditions,” said Zach Gantt, RRT, FAARC, CEO of Encore Healthcare. “By integrating Nexus with these leaders in respiratory equipment, we are breaking down data silos and enabling providers to make more informed decisions, leading to improved patient care and operational efficiencies. Soon, we will be integrated with all but one of the primary ventilator manufacturers on the market.”
