Dynarex Introduces Glenshaw Furniture Collection
The new line incorporates safety features to reduce patient injury risk.

February 27, 2024 by Laurie Watanabe

Dynarex Corp., manufacturer of durable medical equipment and disposable medical supplies, has introduced the Glenshaw Collection, which the company described as “a breakthrough line of premium patient furniture.”

The Glenshaw line includes nightstands, dressers, wardrobes, and bedroom/dining room chairs, with features built in to improve patient safety.

“This meticulously crafted collection marks a significant leap forward in enhancing the living experience for individuals in long-term care and residential facilities,” a Feb. 7 news announcement from Dynarex said. “The furniture is constructed from high-quality wood, laminate, and aluminum materials, reflecting Dynarex’s dedication to providing lasting and reliable solutions.”

“The Glenshaw Collection represents a new era in patient care, combining functionality, safety, and aesthetics,” said Dynarex CEO Zalman Tenenbaum. “We’ve listened attentively to the voices of caregivers, administrators, and residents themselves. The result is an outstanding line of furniture that seamlessly integrates into residential facilities and long-term care settings while addressing the practicalities of daily care.”

The furniture incorporates such safety features as rounded edges and soft-close hinges on nightstands, wardrobes, and dressers to reduce injury risk. Dining room and bedroom chairs feature fire-retardant, high-density foam and upholstery, as well as floor glides to provide for smoother movement.

All pieces of the Glenshaw line are available in different finishes and styles to fit into different environments and color schemes.
