CMS will conduct an on-site conference to help providers comply with its DEMPOS quality standards on Oct. 14 in its Baltimore, Md. CMS auditorium.
The conference hopes to teach non-accredited providers more about the new DMEPOS quality standards. The speaker for the conference, Sandra Bastinelli, Director of the Division of Medical Review & Education, for the Program Integrity Group, which is part of CMS’s Office of Financial Management, will cover:
- Section I- Supplier Business Service Requirement.
- Section II- Supplier Product-Specific Service Requirement.
- Appendices A, B and C.
