CMS will host its second national provider education conference call on May 27 to cover implementation of competitive bidding, set to start July 1. The call is for Medicare fee-for-service HME providers, physicians and other providers that might be affected by the program.
CMS staff will be on-hand to answer questions and address exceptions and situations providers are likely to face during the program’s implementation.
The call, official titled the Medicare DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Program Q&A session, will run from 1 pm. To 2:30 p.m. Easter Date Time. In order to receive key call-in details, providers must register for the session by 1 p.m. EDT May 26, but participatings planning on listening as a group, only need to have one person register.
