Bill Mixon, CEO, officially said good-bye to Advanced Diabetes Supply Group (ADSG) in a July 14 social media post.
“As I reflect on the past several years spent with this incredible business, I have the most pride in the world-class team brought my vision to life, positioning us as one of the leading diabetes distributors in the country,” Mixon said. “Together, we grew to $1 billion in revenue, serving nearly a half million patients annually, culminating in the sale of the business to Cardinal Health at-Home Solutions.”
Mixon said he was “incredibly proud” to turn over the ADSG reins to Anthony Alvarez, “who will serve the business as general manager, bringing together the ADSG and Edgepark teams with a mission to accelerate our growth trajectory, reduce health-care costs, and most importantly, improve patient outcomes, one order at a time. Anthony’s vision for the future of this company is strong, and I expect nothing but greatness for the future.”
Alvarez is the senior vice president and general manager of ADSG and Edgepark, a home medical equipment business that provides supplies in the diabetes, ostomy, urological, incontinence, respiratory, and wound care segments.
Prior to joining Advanced Diabetes Supply Group in July 2023, Mixon served as the CEO for National Seating & Mobility for nine years. Cardinal Health announced it was acquiring Advanced Diabetes Supply Group in November 2024 and completed the deal in April.
