Call for Nominations: HME Business 2024 New Product Awards Program Now Open
Innovative home medical equipment, related business services, and accessibility products will be honored.

September 11, 2024 by Laurie Watanabe

HME Business is now calling for nominations for its 2024 New Product Awards program.

The program recognizes home medical equipment (HME), HME- and business-related services, and accessibility products that support better patient outcomes via outstanding innovation, design and/or features and capabilities.

“HME manufacturers, service providers, and accessibility equipment manufacturers are tasked with designing, developing and launching new products and systems while keeping in mind the inadequate funding rates constantly squeezing HME providers,” said Laurie Watanabe, editor-in-chief of HME Business. “Despite those limitations, manufacturers and service providers continually impress our editorial team and our awards program judges with their ability to introduce products and systems that maximize business efficiencies, patient independence and safety while supporting the positive outcomes that clinicians want to see.

“We’re proud to once again recognize new HME and accessibility products and services that demonstrate not only great innovation, but a truly comprehensive understanding of the many challenges that patients, their caregivers, and HME professionals face each day.”

New Product Award entries, representing products and services launched from Jan. 1, 2023, through Aug. 31, 2024, will be judged by industry professionals. Winners will be announced in December.
