CAIRE Introduces IntenOxy 5 Stationary Oxygen Concentrator
The new concentrator features a simple user interface with easy-to-understand alerts.

IntenOxy 5

CAIRE has launched a new stationary oxygen concentrator for patients needing long-term oxygen therapy at home.

The new IntenOxy 5 “offers effective oxygen delivery with up to 95.5% concentration and flow settings from 0.5 to 5 liters per minute (LPM), meeting a broad range of prescription needs,” the company said in a Jan. 31 news announcement. “Patients will appreciate its simple user interface with easy-to-understand alerts. Weighing only 34.2 lbs., this concentrator is sleek and compact, blending into the surroundings and boasting a low power consumption of <350W at the 5 LPM setting.”

The IntenOxy 5 joins CAIRE’s FreeStyle Comfort portable oxygen concentrator “to help DME [durable medical equipment] and HME [home medical equipment] customers stock their fleets with what the industry calls non-delivery solutions — equipment that requires minimal maintenance and reduces overall operating expenses.”

The announcement from Ball Ground, Georgia-based CAIRE added that the IntenOxy 5 stationary oxygen concentrator will soon also be available in Canada. The system has a three-year warranty.

“The IntenOxy 5 stationary oxygen concentrator has been an excellent addition to our oxygen therapy portfolio,” said Ken Hosako, CAIRE’s president/CEO. “The unit is a key component to how our DME and HME customers serve their respiratory patients, providing them with an at-home device that delivers the oxygen they need as they navigate activities of daily living.”

CAIRE will be in booth 1027 at Medtrade, Feb. 19-20 in Dallas.
