BritKare Home Medical Picks Up Pillar Equipment Services

Amarillo, Texas-based BritKare Home Medical has purchased HME provider Pillar Equipment Services, a diversified durable medical equipment business located in Lubbock, Texas.

Serving the home medical, respiratory and oxygen patients in the Texas Panhandle region since 1995, BritKare Home Medical will help Pillar Equipment Services expand its reach via three locations in Northwest Texas.

As part of the agreement, arranged by industry mergers and acquisition firm Duckridge Advsiors, Pillar Equipment Services will change its name to BritKare Home Medical and continue to operate at its existing location at 8004 Indiana Ave. Ste. B-3 in Lubbock, Texas. 

“The acquisition of Pillar gives us expanded regional capability to continue providing exceptional service to our patients and referral sources in the Texas Panhandle,” said Josh Britten, president of BritKare. “We are delighted to welcome Pillar Equipment Services and its employees into our growing family of businesses.”

Britten added that the additional locations would help his company further its efforts to provide product expertise and convenience to patients and convenience, and “further underscores our commitment” to the company motto, “One Stop Solutions to Your Health Care Needs.”
