Brightree has named a new General Manager of its SaaS HME & Infusion business unit.
In an Oct. 9 news announcement, Brightree said Gregg Timmons’s appointment to that position became effective immediately.
“Following an extensive and thorough selection process, Timmons emerges as the ideal candidate to lead this crucial revenue and growth engine within the organization,” the announcement said.
Timmons has been General Manager of ResMed SaaS, Value-Added Solutions. The news release said he “brings a wealth of experience in the HME industry and a deep understanding of the company’s operations to his new role. Notably, he served as the CEO of Apacheta, a mobile logistics software provider, and MedAct, a medical billing and inventory management solution, both of which were acquired by Brightree within the last decade. This appointment underscores Brightree’s commitment to fostering talent from within its own ranks.”
Timmons’s new responsibilities include managing “the daily operations of Brightree’s HME & Home Infusion business.” He’ll also “play a central role in shaping and executing a strategic vision aimed at advancing Brightree’s growth trajectory.”
Bobby Ghoshal, ResMed Saas President, said in the announcement, “Customer-centricity is at the core of Brightree’s mission, and Gregg’s profound insights into product development, customer solutions, and market value have been evident throughout his tenure. Gregg has extensive history within the HME and healthcare software sectors, and is supremely well suited for this role. With his wealth of knowledge, he will play a pivotal role in setting our course for the future and propelling the HME & home infusion business to unprecedented heights.”
Brightree said Timmons’s leadership experience includes holding executive positions at “leading health software service innovators.” He also has been involved in multiple healthcare industry mergers and acquisitions, and has “championed strategic partnerships, and fostered collaboration among diverse teams through effective communication.”
The company added that a search is underway for a new leader for Brightree’s Value-Added Solutions division. Until that role is filled, Timmons will serve as interim General Manager for CitusHealth, Patient Collections, and MealTracker.
