FAHCS to Host Legislative Conference in February
The Florida Alliance of Home Care Services (FAHCS) is hosting a legislative conference in Tallahassee, Florida, Feb. 11-12.
In a Jan. 13 announcement, FAHCS said, “This day-and-a-half conference will include critical meetings with champions and key legislators to push our agenda forward and support providers across Florida.” The agenda is to be announced.
FAHCS will also be hosting Sunshine Health Town Hall training sessions that providers can attend virtually, or in person at Sunshine Health Community Connections Centers in Lauderhill, Ocala, Orlando, Miami, and Tampa, Florida. Town hall topics will include policy, billing and claims, vendor updates, and Q&A sessions.
VGM Launches New Heartland Conference Website
VGM & Associates has redesigned its VGM Heartland Conference website to create a more user-friendly experience.
In a Jan. 9 press release, VGM said the updated site “follows a more streamlined process, making all resources and information about the VGM Heartland Conference easily accessible. The site also incorporates the refreshed brand with new colors and a modernized logo that were announced November of 2024.”
The all-in-one website features information on the conference and its various educational tracks, plus information on travel, the expo, the conference agenda and presenters, and networking/social events. Among the website’s graphics: A smiling chocolate chip cookie, presumably an homage to the cookies famously baked by Heartland staff and distributed to attendees.

that the refreshed website will enhance the vibrant and dynamic atmosphere of the event.”
This year’s conference takes place June 9-11 in VGM’s hometown of Waterloo, Iowa.
