AARC Names Director of Education

The American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) has a new director of education.

In a Dec. 20 news announcement, the AARC introduced Joey Ariale, BSRT, RRT, RPFT, AE-C, who “has been a respiratory therapist for seven years and has demonstrated a passion for advancing the field of respiratory care,” the organization said. “As the AARC director of education, he will strive to provide engaging material for all members. He will also aim to uphold the high level of quality content already available, ensuring all future educational content meets the same standard.”

“Ever since being a student, I have enjoyed promoting both the AARC and the profession by volunteering at every Congress, flying to Washington, D.C., to promote legislation on Hill Day, and creating new content for AARC University,” Ariale said. “I look forward to the opportunity to elevate the respiratory therapy profession to even greater heights.”
