Cardinal Health Opens Chemistry Center in Massachusetts

Cardinal Health’s global medical products and distribution business has officially launched the Scientific Services Chemistry Center in its Mansfield, Massachusetts, office.

In a Nov. 14 press release, Cardinal Health said the testing and U.S. Food & Drug Administration-regulated laboratory has nearly 26,000 square feet of lab space “dedicated to innovation and quality assurance.” The testing services will help “to accelerate new product development, enhance business continuity and manufacturing efficiency, and enable best-in-class regulatory compliance.”


CGS Announces December Medicare Webinars

CGS Administrators, the Medicare DME MAC for jurisdictions B and C, has announced early-December Medicare webinars on a range of topics.

On Dec. 3, CGS is offering webinars on knee orthoses; and ankle-foot and knee-ankle foot orthoses. Topics for the Dec. 4 webinars are external infusion pumps; and glucose monitors and supplies. Dec. 5 webinar topics are Medicare 101 and Medicare 102.
