Briefly: AARC Opens Conference Registration; CGS Announces August Webinar Lineup

Registration Now Open for AARC Congress 2024

Registration is open for the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) Congress 2024, taking place Nov. 20-23 in Orlando, Florida. In a website announcement, AARC described the event as “bringing respiratory therapists from around the globe together for learning, connecting and the latest industry trends.”

Congress sessions are “designed for respiratory therapists of all levels and specialties.” The event will include lectures, symposiums, social events, research presentations, and an exhibit hall. The keynote speaker will be Jerome Adams, M.D., MPH, executive director, health equity initiatives at Purdue University.


CGS August Education Includes Documentation Series

CGS Administrators, the Jurisdiction B and C DME MAC, has released its August webinar schedule, which includes a three-part documentation requirements series covering medical records and signature requirements; refill and proof of delivery regulations; and advance beneficiary notice (ABN) usage and billing upgrades.

Other August topics include sessions on external breast prostheses and therapeutic shoes for diabetic patients.
