Deadline Extended: Take AAHomecare’s Market Impact Survey
The American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare) is seeking more participants to take its Market Impact Survey. The new deadline is Friday, March 27.
The survey is open to all home medical equipment suppliers who provide medical supplies, continuous glucose monitors and insulin infusion pumps to patients. Suppliers do not need to be AAHomecare members to participate.
The association noted the survey’s goal is “to assess the impact of reimbursement, supply chain, costs and personnel.” Information gathered “will be confidential and only used in aggregate for advocacy efforts.”
AAHomecare Washington Conference Scheduled for May 13-14
The American Association for Homecare’s (AAHomecare) annual Washington Legislative Conference is scheduled for May 13-14, with the Hilton Washington D.C. Capitol Hill serving as event headquarters.
The conference kicks off with a networking reception and dinner at the Capitol Hill Club on May 13. Attendees are invited to breakfast at the Hilton on May 14 to meet colleagues who’ll join them for a full day of Capitol Hill meetings. Attendees will also take part in an educational webinar on May 6 to prepare them for their meetings with policy makers and staffs.
“When lawmakers hear consistent, unified messages from providers across the country, they gain clarity on what matters most to their constituents,” AAHomecare said in a March 16 announcement. “Your participation helps them understand the stakes and see the real‑world impact of current policies.
“The decisions Congress makes this year will directly influence reimbursement stability, patient access and the long‑term viability of HME businesses, and the bills currently moving on Capitol Hill make this an especially pivotal moment. By attending the Washington Legislative Conference, you’re not only protecting your own organization’s future, but also strengthening the collective voice of the HME industry nationwide.”
