Authentidate Holding Corp. Names National Director of Health Care Sales

July 1, 2006 by HME Business

Authentidate Holding Corp., a provider of secure enterprise workflow management solutions, has announced that Marcus Wagstaff has been named national director of health care sales.

The new position is a result of Authentidate’s expanded presence in the health care industry, particularly among home medical equipment suppliers. Wagstaff will report to Paul Skinner, vice president of sales.

“Marcus’ strong background is consistent with our corporate strategy to expand our sales team and continue growing our presence in the health care market,” said Skinner. “More and more companies are using our HIPAA-compliant workflow solutions to reduce costs, improve productivity and enhance compliance through audit-ready systems. We are confident that Marcus will play an important role in engaging more new clients and build upon our existing relationships with clients like Liberty Healthcare, Advanced Home Care and American HomePatient.”

Wagstaff joins Authentidate from Cardinal Health, an integrated health care solutions company, where he served as account director and commercialized new technology solutions for the company’s medical communications services division. Prior to working with Cardinal Health, he held various operations, strategic planning and consulting sales roles at Dendrite International, a technology-focused solutions provider for the pharmaceutical industry. Wagstaff began his career in the sales department of Roberts Pharmaceutical.
