ATLAS Technology Introduces AI Intake Functionality
AI Intake improves intake accuracy while freeing staffers to work on other tasks.

March 25, 2025 by Laurie Watanabe

ATLAS Technology has launched AI Intake, described as “a powerful new feature integrated within [ATLAS] HME/CRT enterprise software.”

“Designed to streamline patient intake and enhance billing efficiency, AI intake empowers health-care providers with a seamless, cloud-based solution for managing orders and improving workflow — all from a single login,” the March 17 ATLAS announcement added. “This exciting new feature is included within our standard fee rate — no additional charge!”

As demonstrated at last week’s International Seating Symposium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, AI Intake enables providers to receive and upload orders with a single click. AI Intake automatically lifts patient demographics into ATLAS intake fields. “This eliminates manual data entry, reduces errors, and accelerates the intake process,” the announcement said.

AI Intake also populates patient and billing details into the ATLAS platform for “unmatched accuracy and efficiency, reducing administrative burdens and boosting productivity” because staffers are able to turn their attention to other tasks.

ATLAS said the new AI functionality processes new patients more quickly, cutting intake time “from 10 minutes to just 30 seconds,” and streamlines the justification process by identifying and correcting missing or incorrect documentation before submission. The system can also “scale with ease” to support operational growth with automation, eliminating the need to recruit, hire and train additional employees.

The system can be tailored to meet the provider’s specific needs to simplify training and enhance security, and can minimize errors thanks to clearly marked “required” and “recommended” fields, along with validation features to ensure accuracy and reduce claim denials.

“With AI Intake,” the announcement said, “ATLAS Technology continues its mission to empower health-care providers, optimize workflow, and ensure faster, more accurate billing.”
