The American Association for Homecare has opened registration for its annual Stand Up for Homecare reception, which will be held on March 29 during the upcoming Medtrade convention.
Considered a key networking event during the show, proceeds from Stand Up for Homecare support patient advocacy groups that represent a broad range of people who use HME. The groups include the ITEM Coalition, which comprises important allies on many HME public policy priorities. Last year, AAHomecare was able to give $25,000 to the ITEM Coalition and the more than 90 patient advocacy organizations they represent.
The fundraising reception runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the F Lobby at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center on March 29.
“This beautiful space is filled with natural light and just a short walk from the show floor,” a statement from AAHomecare noted about the reception’s new location. “Perfect for networking with old friends and new.”
Attendees can purchase tickets via this link or as an add-on to their Medtrade registration. Companies seeking sponsorship opportunities, which include a block of tickets, should email Sue Mairena at suem@aahomecare.org.
