Medical Service Company Acquires Indiana Provider

The addition of Ascension St. Vincent’s Medical Equipment expands MSC’s location count in the Hoosier state and deepens its relationship with the Ascension healthcare system.

Great Lakes regional provider Medical Service Company (MSC) has purchased Evansville, Ind.-based provider Ascension St. Vincent’s Medical Equipment.

The move also deepens Medical Service Company’s relationship with the Ascension healthcare system, the provider noted in a public statement.

“Part of this exciting acquisition, MSC has expanded its partnership with Ascension from Central Indiana now down to Evansville,” the statement read. “… We look forward to offering our industry-leading chronic care solutions and hospital-to-home coordination to more patients throughout the state of Indiana.”

MSC welcomed the Ascension St. Vincent’s team members transitioning to its team. The acquisition brings MSC’s number of locations in Indiana to eight. MSC also has multiple locations in Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Michigan, Kansas and Wisconsin.
