Responsive Respiratory Names Steven Bannon New President and Owner

Bannon will leverage his experience overseeing supply chain and cost-reduction initiatives to lead the oxygen equipment company.

Steven Bannon has been named as the President and Owner of oxygen equipment maker Responsive Respiratory (RRI).

Bannon returned to RRI six years ago and has served the company in a leadership and business development capacity. He succeeds Thomas Bannon, who will continue to serve as a business consultant for the company.

“The board and I are confident that Steven is the right person to continue Responsive Respiratory’s focus on providing exceptional service and high-quality respiratory products to the homecare, emergency services and welding markets,” Thomas Bannon noted. “Steven is a seasoned leader with experience growing both sales channels and managing the intricacies of today’s global supply chain fragility.”

Before joining Responsive Respiratory, Steven Bannon held a number of project management and operations roles at Caterpillar Inc. During his time with the company, he led supply chain and cost reduction initiatives focused on developing efficiencies throughout the sourcing and logistics process. He has since applied that supply chain experience to his work for RRI during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Serving our customer’s needs is RRI’s highest priority,” he explained. “Our continuing focus on vendor relationships drives supply chain efficiencies, ensuring that we are able to maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand, even in a pandemic.”
