VGM Opens Registration for Heartland Conference

The 21st edition of VGM’s conference and expo event runs June 13-15 at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center.

VGM & Associates has opened registration for the 21st annual Heartland Conference, which the member service group will hold in-person June 13-15 in Waterloo, Iowa.

Early Bird pricing is available to those who register prior to April 15. Passes are all-inclusive and provide access to all of Heartland’s educational opportunities, including four pre-conference sessions. This year’s passes also cover meals, entertainment, and access to exhibits from VGM’s vendor network inside a newly renovated exhibit hall at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center.

“Heartland has always been about bringing people together to be part of something bigger — a community,” said Clint Geffert, president of VGM & Associates. “That’s why we’re so excited to have Heartland 2022 live and in person again. Each year, we work hard to make Heartland even better than the last. With our outstanding lineup of speakers, education, and social events, Heartland’s 21st year is going to be one of the best experiences yet.”

The VGM Heartland Conference agenda includes industry experts speaking on topics related to the home medical equipment (HME) industry, such as respiratory, accessibility, regulatory, audits, rehab, operations, sales and marketing, billing and reimbursement, retail, and more. Educational sessions offer more than 60 options for registrants to earn contact hours. Attendees can earn an estimated 14.75 contact hours/CEUs this year. This year’s keynote speaker is award-winning entertainer and “igniter of untapped potential,” Devin Henderson.

This year’s Heartland also features numerous opportunities for networking and fun, including HME community dinners, the Heartland hog roast with fireworks, and a special event for first-time attendees.

“Heartland has something for every HME professional. There’s going to be so much to learn, see, and experience,” said Jill Blaser, Heartland Conference chair. “We can’t wait to welcome our members back and show off our community’s recently renovated hotel and convention center.”
