VGM Unveils Moxie
New marketing services company blends three VGM business units: VGM Marketing, VGM Events and Hellman, a marketing agency acquired by VGM in 2018.
VGM Group Inc. has launched Moxie, a marketing agency serving clients in manufacturing, healthcare and other industries, as well as the many internal divisions of VGM.
The new company is the result of VGM merging three of its businesses, VGM Marketing VGM Events and Hellman, a marketing agency VGM acquired in 2018. The new company will be headed by President Christa Miehe, who was president of Marketing & Shared Services for VGM.
Miehe will lead a team of nearly 30 marketing professionals who will provide services such as strategy, branding, design, content, video, experiential marketing and event planning to internal VGM clients and external clients alike.
“We are very excited to introduce Moxie,” Miehe said. “This strategic alignment blends three very talented teams and allows us to expand our capabilities and offer current and new clients a broader range of services.”
Hellman was launched by Bob Hellman in Waterloo in 1967, and its clients have included 3M, C.H. Robinson, CPM and John Deere. In recent years, Hellman had been working with VGM clients. Nearly 20 years ago, VGM Group established VGM Marketing and VGM Events to serve its own growing family of business units.
“Hellman has a long history of strength and prestige,” said Michele Jensen, Moxie’s vice president. “We have been refining and building the brand since VGM acquired it, and the merger into Moxie represents the next phase of its evolution.”
