NEMEP Expands Virtual Experience

New York and New Jersey provider association has re-tooled its event once more to partner with MAMES to offer an Oct. 6-9 event that will feature both online conference sessions and a virtual exhibit hall.

After initially deciding to reschedule its April annual meeting to a virtual event on Sept. 28 to Oct. 2, Northeast Medical Equipment Providers (NEMEP) has decided to revise its meeting further.

The association will now team up with Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services (MAMES) to offer a virtual meeting and exhibit hall from Oct. 6 to 9. The agenda will feature both management- and staff-level training conducted during the four days of the event as well as a virtual exhibit hall!

“NEMEP leadership considered all possibilities to meet in person since we know nothing is better than face to face,” NEMEP Executive Director Beth Bowen said. “However, forming this partnership with a strong MAMES association allows us the resources to bring a more thorough virtual event to you. … Joining in with other state associations who have the same need as NEMEP gives us the ability to bring education sessions and a virtual exhibit hall right to your front door safely.”

“NEMEP is fortunate to work with MAMES and use their virtual tool to offer this valuable event to our providers and suppliers,” added NEMEP President John Quinlan. “This collaborative partnership with ACMESA, ATHOMES, FAHCS, NEMEP, SWMESA, Great Lakes and OAMES all together will bring the hottest topics in management and reimbursement along with a virtual exhibit hall to our DME community.”

Registration will begin soon, and will consist of a $149 fee per NEMEP member company, with unlimited attendees. Non-members may attend for $189.
