HHS Extends Relief Attestation Deadline

Agency shifts the deadline for filling out the CARES Act Provider Relief Fund attestation form from 45 days after receiving payment to 90 days.

Providers receiving COVID-19 relief funds from the Department of Health and Human Services now have even more time to submit their attestation that they received aid from the CARES Act.

The deadline for filling out the CARES Act Provider Relief Fund attestation form has been extended to 90 days from receiving payment. Not returning the payment within 90 days of receipt of payment will be viewed as acceptance of the $30 billion fund’s terms and conditions.

In mid-May, HHS previously extended the original 30-day deadline to 45 days from receiving payment.
