Dmecbpeducation.com, a website designed to help HME providers better prepare for Round 2021 of competitive bidding, is now offering three new features.
The new resources include:
• Video tutorials
• Webinar recording
• An improved FAQ page
(To reach the new offerings, click the associated links.)
The video tutorials available on the website discuss the changes coming to the Medicare DMEPOS competitive bidding program this year. There are four videos accessible on the webpage, one by Mark Higley, vice president of Regulatory Affairs for the VGM Group, and three from Cara Bachenheimer, head of government affairs at Brown & Fortunato and general counsel of the American Association for Homecare. Higley shares how the bid surety bond will impact the next round is his video. Bachenheimer explains lead item pricing; maximum winning bid; and the higher bid ceiling in her videos to help bidders better understand the concepts.
For those looking for an in-depth explanation and discussion regarding Round 2021’s changes to the competitive bidding program, the webinar that is now available on the website is the right choice. The webinar includes the information covered in the Bid Smart 2019 Summit, and is accessible at all times.
The website also updated its FAQ page to include a comprehensive list of the questions it has received since its recent rollout. If a bidder has a question that isn’t answered on the FAQ page, they can reach out to the organization directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dmecbpeducation.com is produced by an educational coalition consisting of AAHomecare; the Council for Quality Respiratory Care (CQRC); and the VGM Group.
