A new alliance between Quantum Rehab (Duryea, Penn.) and Team Gleason will see the complex rehab manufacturer contribute $50,000 to the ALS non-profit. In addition, Team Gleason will distribute Quantum Rehab’s seat elevation technology, including its iLevel system.
Team Gleason was founded in 2011 by former New Orleans Saint’s football player Steve Gleason and his wife Michel after Gleason was diagnosed with ALS. The Gleason Initiative Foundation helps provide people with ALS with assistive technology and services and raises global awareness about the disease.
"Those living with ALS face daily challenges,” said John Storie, vice president of Quantum Sales-Eastern America. “Access to life-sustaining mobility should not be one of them,” he added. "It’s our privilege to work with Team Gleason to ensure that those living with ALS have the best mobility technology and the highest quality of life possible."
Team Gleason is currently accepting applications from people with ALS for a power seat elevator. To fill out an application or learn more about Team Gleason, please visit bit.ly/2PpEDXX.
