AAHomecare Adds New Board Members

Scott Maughan of Alpine Home Medical and Josh Marx of Medical Service Company will help steer the industry’s national association.

The American Association for Homecare has added two new board members, Scott Maughan and Josh Marx, who will fill two recently opened positions.

Maughan is president of Utah-based Alpine Home Medical, and brings more than 30 years in the HME sector to the Board. He started his career in 1987 at Glasrock Home Health, stayed through its purchase Praxair, and in 2007joined Alpine Home Medical, where he held various positions including director of business development and payer contracting, COO, and eventually. president. 

Marx is managing director of sleep and vice president of business development for family-owned Medical Service Company.  He has held positions in sales, payer partnerships, marketing, brand management, and operations. Currently he helps forge new health system and payer partnerships, as well as works to expand MSC’s Sleep Division.

Maughan and Marx fill positions opened when Deb Silvers of Hoveround became chair of the Regulatory Council and Perry Bernocchi of Byram Healthcare resigned.
