Incontinence product maker Cure Medical has released the Cure Ultra, a 16-in. intermittent catheter designed to help men who need an easy-to-use, pre-lubricated catheter that will not kink when it is bent.
Now available nationwide, the sterile, single-use Cure Ultra features:
- Sizes 8-18 French
- 16-inch long catheter
- Easy tear top
- Fire-polished eyelets
- Will not kink when bent
- Easy gripper sleeve for better control
- ‘No roll’ connector/funnel end
- Not made with DEHP, BPA or natural rubber Latex
- Pre-lubricated, straight tip with CoverAll technology for no drips, and less mess
The CoverAll application process evenly distributes lubricant over the catheter as it is removed from the package. The process makes the catheter ready-to-use with no resistance as the user self-catheterizes. That said, the catheter still incorporates a gripper sleeve for increased ease of use.
The CoverAll gel also helps with weight. A case of Cure Ultra is nearly 50 percent lighter than a case of Cure Hydrophilic catheters, because the gel weighs much less than the water that is used to lubricate hydrophilic catheters.
“We are thrilled to provide an option to men who want a ready-to-use catheter with more grip control and less mess,” said Cure Medical CEO John Anderson.
