VGM Group Adds CLO, Shuffles OPGA Leadership

VGM promotes Dennis Clark to serve as chief leadership officer, and Todd Eagen takes over as president of OPGA.

The VGM Group has expanded its executive team to include Dennis Clark in the newly created position of chief leadership officer (CLO). For the past 20 years, Clark has been the president of VGM's Orthotic Prosthetic Group of America (OPGA).

As CLO, Clark will lead the advancement of VGM's values, mission and brand, and serve as the post-acute health care visionary and ambassador across VGM's health care membership communities.

"Dennis has a unique and powerful insight into VGM’s history, culture and values as well as our members and vendor partners and our leadership role," said Mike Mallaro, chief executive officer of the VGM Group. "He is particularly brilliant at connecting people and ideas as well as building teams.”

Although Clark will no longer lead the OPGA, Mallaro offered assurance that Clark will maintain presence in the orthotics and prosthetics industry. “Dennis is an important figure in the O&P community, and that will not change," he said. "While transitioning out of OPGA, Dennis will nonetheless remain a connected and visible part of the O&P community.”

Todd Eagan will take over as president of the OPGA after serving for six years in the role of vice president. As president, Eagan will focus on advancing the organization for independent O&P providers.

"Over the last several years, OPGA has grown and broadened the value that we bring to our community of members and suppliers, and I look forward to continuing down that path," Eagan said.

Clark expressed his confidence in Eagan's leadership of the OPGA. “My professional life has been dedicated to serving patients and independent O&P practices," he said. "Although, my focus will broaden, I have the utmost confidence in our industry and know that Todd will continue to do remarkable things leading OPGA and our profession forward.”
