Maker of portable oxygen concentrators O2 Concepts has hired Ken Abriola as its vice president of Domestic Sales and promoted John Lewis as its national sales director in order to expand its domestic sales efforts.
Abriola, who will manage all U.S. sales, has longer than 28 years of medical device sales experience, most recently as the manager of Fukuda Denshi’s U.S. Sales and Marketing. Abriola has held several executive sales positions during his career, including positions with Drager, Toshiba and Spacelabs, and has experience selling capital solutions for medical services providers on a regional and national scale.
“Hiring Ken Abriola demonstrates our commitment to continued expansion of our platform,” said Rob Kent, CEO of O2 Concepts, who said that in addition to developing respiratory connection, the company would seek to attract “the best talent from the healthcare industry” in order to expand its market share.
Additionally, as National Sales Director, Lewis will focus on large accounts and national growth strategies, as well as coordinate solutions for the Veterans Administration and other government agencies. Previously Lewis was the Southeast Regional Manager for O2 Concepts.
“The promotion of John Lewis reflects our recognition of one of the best young sales leaders in the industry,” Kent continued. “We are pleased to position John as a resource for our large provider customer group, which we believe will substantially influence the future of our industry.”
