Ottobock Promotes Finance VP
President recognizes Schuerman for ‘financial vision and leadership.’

Prosthetic, orthotic and mobility products maker Ottobock has promoted Kathy Schuerman to vice president of Finance for North America.
Schuerman joined Ottobock in 2006 as controller and was promoted to executive director of finance in 2012. She will continue as a member of the Ottobock’s Regional Management Team where she consults the Leadership Team with her financial expertise.
"In her previous roles, Kathy has guided the organization through dramatic changes in the industry and a global recession,” said Andreas Schultz, president and CFO of Ottobock North America. “Despite these challenges, she helped improve our financial position and mitigate downward pressures, and I am pleased to elevate her in the organization in recognition of her financial vision and leadership."
A Certified Public Accountant, Schuerman is a Chartered Global Management Accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management with emphasis in Accounting and an AAS from the St. Cloud Technical Business College. She is a member of the Minnesota CPA Society, a member of AICPA Society, and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
