Pride Pumps up Retail Leadership

Mobility maker adds national sales manager, promotes two key, internal retail players.

Power mobility manufacturer Pride Mobility Products Corp. has beefed up is retail leadership by brining Stuart Robinson on board as its national sales manager of Retail Mobility, as well as promoting Brett Shoemaker to director of Retail Mobility Sales, and Cy Corgan to director of Strategic Accounts. 

The three will work directly with Andrew Pyrih, senior vice president of Domestic Sales, on overseeing Pride Mobility’s new retail sales strategies to further support the needs of providers and help them succeed. 

Robinson will be responsible for managing relationships with providers and developing sales business strategies for standard power, lift chairs, mobility scooters, and lifts and ramps. Robinson will manage, develop, mentor and recruit retail mobility sales representatives and independent representatives, and contribute to Pride’s future product development by collaborating with consumers, providers, and the Pride Corporate leadership team. 

Shoemaker will direct Pride’s inside sales team to grow domestic sales and marketshare of lift chairs, mobility scooters and lifts and ramps through strong provider relationships and consistent strategies. He also will work to enhance providers’ experience working with Pride and ensure ease of doing business.

Corgan will develop better partnerships with key retail customers, improving the customer experience through field intelligence, and strategic development of sales opportunities with potential retail customers.

Robinson brings over 14 years of sales expertise to Pride, having initially launched his career as an account executive with UCG Technology, a computer programming services company. Since then he has worked for such companies as telecom firm MCI Inc. and dental instrument manufacturer Sybron Dental Specialties. Most recently, Robinson served as sales director for group practices and national accounts with dental restorative product maker DMG America.

Shoemaker has worked for Pride since 2008 in various management capacities. In his most recent position as director of Pride Products, he worked within the company’s Research and Development department and oversaw the development of the lifts and ramps product line.

Corgan has been a part of Pride’s sales leadership team since 2002. Most recently, Corgan served as director of Retail Mobility Sales, and was responsible for directing Pride’s inside sales team to grow domestic sales and marketshare through strong provider relationships and consistent strategies.
