The American Pharmacists Association (APhA) has announced candidates for its board of trustees, President-Elect, and Honorary President positions.
In a Jan. 8 news release, APhA said there are two candidates for President-Elect for the 2025-2026 term: Magaly Rodriguez de Bittner, PharmD, Pasadena, Md.; and Vibhuti Arya, PharmD, MPH, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Two pairs of candidates were announced for the 2025-2028 term on APhA’s board of trustees. The election for the board of trustees will have Kelsea Gallegos Aragon, PharmD, Albuquerque, N.M., running against Scott Tomerlin, PharmD, Melbourne, Fla.; and LCDR Nelly Gazarian, PharmD, MS, Fairfax, Va., running against Ashley Lorenzen, PharmD, Florence, Wisc.
Anne L. Burns, BSPharm, RPh, Great Falls, Va., is running unopposed as the candidate for Honorary President.
APhA will e-mail ballots to association members on March 22. The election will take place from March 22 through May 6.
