Longtime home medical equipment (HME) and Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) advocate and policy expert Alexis Ward has moved on from her position with the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare).
Ward had served as AAHomecare’s senior director of payer relations.
In a Dec. 18 email to colleagues, Ward said, “It has been an honor and privilege to work alongside you over the past year and a half. I am deeply grateful for the collaboration, insights, and shared commitment to advancing our industry. My time at AAHomecare has been incredibly rewarding, and I continue to have the utmost confidence in and appreciation for the exceptional work the AAHomecare team does. As I transition to a new role, I am excited about the opportunities it will bring to continue contributing to the CRT industry in a different manner than I have done so previously.”
Ward, whose last day with AAHomecare was Dec. 18, announced in a Dec. 23 social media post that she had accepted a position as head of funding and advocacy for Denver, Colorado-based Cubby Beds, which provides smart safety beds for adults and children with disabilities.
“This role is a dream I never knew I had,” Ward said in announcing her new position. “I’m thrilled to embark on this incredible journey in 2025.”
