Advanced Diabetes Supply (ADS), a national distributor of specialized diabetes supplies, has added Blair Baldwin, senior vice president of operations, to its team.

“We’re proud to have Blair join the ADS team,” said Bill Mixon, ADS CEO. “His approach, expertise and strategic vision will undoubtedly play a key role in advancing our organizational goals and driving future success of the company.”

Baldwin’s most recent post was as vice president of customer care and consumer experience for CareSource, a managed care organization in Dayton, Ohio. Baldwin has also held positions at the Texas Down Employees Credit Union, General Electric, and USAA.

A U.S. Army veteran, Baldwin earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering management from the United States Military Academy West Point and a master’s degree in management of technology from Fairfield University.

The ADS announcement noted Baldwin’s career “is distinguished by a unique blend of leadership development, customer service operations expertise, technology acumen and strategic sales experience.”

ADS added that Baldwin “is adept at ensuring quality rigor and methodologies to reengineer business practices, leveraging his Black Belt (Six Sigma) certification to drive operational excellence. Baldwin has led omni-channel contact strategies across diverse lines of business, managing annual contact volumes exceeding 2 billion and has an extensive background in workforce management operations.”
