Advanced Diabetes Supply (ADS) has partnered with StrideMD to offer its members access to StrideForward, a program that offers integrated, remote care services to support people living with diabetes.
In an Aug. 19 news announcement, Carlsbad, California-based ADS said the partnership is an expansion of its membership wellness initiatives. It described StrideMD as a management service organization specializing in connected care solutions.
StrideForward “offers integrated, remote care services designed to improve the lives of people living with diabetes,” ADS said. “StrideForward features the remote patient monitoring and virtual care support services of StrideMD to further enhance the diabetes management journey for ADS members.”
The program provides both virtual and in-person support, with eligible ADS members having 24/7 access “to a team of expert endocrinologists, certified diabetes educators, and other medical professionals, as well as advanced remote patient monitoring technology.” ADS members will be able to tap into real-time glucose readings, data aggregation and additional “actionable insights.”
ADS is currently rolling out access to the program to “a select group of ADS members with type 2 diabetes” and will expand access to more patients next year.
“ADS is dedicated to supporting our members in the effective management of their diabetes,” said ADS CEO Bill Mixon. “Our partnership with StrideMD prioritizes the patient-centered care that is critical to the health of those we serve through access to an integrated team of experts and tools providing virtual and in-person holistic support.”
“Partnering with ADS, a leader in continuous glucose monitor distribution, is a perfect fit for StrideMD,” said StrideMD CEO Spencer Weiss. “Personal experience with the devastating impact of diabetes underscores the critical need for advanced care solutions. Our combined expertise and resources will drive better health outcomes.”
